Meeting

  There is Going to be a Meeting, Acrylic on Canvas, Susan Mains 2013.

I know that Monet is the famous one for painting water lilies, but what if he had come to the Caribbean?  Surely his soft, pastel hues would have brightened to fully saturated colours, and his shadows would have come alive with the intensity of the tropics.  Too bad.  We just have to try to make up for that loss.  Move over Monet.
