The River at Marquis on a Friday Afternoon

45″ x 45″ Acrylic 2012

After Hurricane Ivan many of the favourite hiking paths were blocked, then overgrown with vines, then life takes over, and ten years had gone by.  SMH.  So a recent Friday afternoon found me sitting on a rock, listening to frogs, watching fish in the river, and being greeted by a very curious mongoose. Life on the Spice Island goes on.
