So somtimes you just neeeeed to paint a goat. Or a sheep. Really.

While Grenada is a tropical paradise with beaches, palm trees, rain forest, and lushness, it is also an island where real people live.  People who like mutton.  Thus, goats and sheep are a regular part of the landscape. Not in huge flocks in fields, but by the ones and twos, usually tied to a stake to eat the grass for a day.  If you ask a goat his opinion, he may tell you “bleh”.  Or not. But you can still ask.    Thanks Kellon Pascal–you know who you are. Image

  1. we only see animals as a food product but if we take the time to appreciate and study these animals we will learn a lot from them. i love how you capture the goats true character and beauty lol. in a goats eye you can feel there pain and see there story. i have two of my own but they are more like pets.
